  • 1 cup demerara sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 chopped apple
  • Pulp of 1 passion fruit
  • 2 chopped pineapple slices with rind
  • 2 liters water
  • 1 orange slice
  • Cloves
  • Cinnamon sticks

 

Preparation Ritual

  1. Prepare the syrup by mixing the demerara sugar with the half cup of water.
  2. Add the apple, passion fruit pulp, pineapple, cloves, and cinnamon.
  3. Stir for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the 2 liters of water.
  5. Boil for about 10 minutes.
  6. Strain and serve with the orange and a piece of cinnamon stick.
